AEG Recognizes International Women’s Day with “Together we RISE” Campaign

(New York, NY) - March 8, 2023 – American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest group of independent elevator service providers in the United States, today announced its “Together we RISE” campaign in honor of International Women’s Day (IWD), observed March 8th. In keeping with IWD’s 2023 theme of #EmbraceEquity, AEG is taking the opportunity to highlight the many dedicated women in the elevator industry and the importance of moving toward a future that better values diversity and the contributions women make in the workforce.

The company has designed a special, commemorative pin which is being distributed to its female employees across all group companies for International Women’s Day, along with an empowering message. AEG also invites the rest of the elevator industry to nominate deserving women from outside of AEG to receive a pin as well, in an effort to reach, recognize and encourage even more female industry professionals. The Together we RISE campaign is a continuation of AEG’s ongoing efforts to raise the profile of women in the elevator industry, encourage dialog around building a more inclusive work environment, and improve future recruitment of women, as detailed in the company’s recent white paper RISE – The Untapped Potential of Women in the Elevator Industry.
